The Salon:

This once visionary idea was built into Bobby Cooper Hair Salon in early 2007. The Hair Salon was designed and executed in a collaborative spirit, really focusing on the core of the company's culture. What was created was a culture of "connectivity" with the clients- realizing that making it an all around pleasurable experience will ultimately be the key to long term success. The whole feel of the hair salon is meant to flatter every client that walks in the door and convince them they couldn't possibly be in better hands.

From the lobby you can view the main salon, which is the spine and soul of the entire space. All of the stylists are in an open and spacious environment which symbolizes communication. The large backroom, where colors are formulated to magical perfection, is considered the "think tank" of the modern salon.

The objective was to create a space that is in recognition of the attraction we all have to beauty- to create something that oozes inspiration, and leaves clients and stylists always craving more

The Owners

Bobby Cooper

Known for his restless energy, elegance of his process and his precise attention to detail, he keeps his clientele in a place where this is their most coveted appointment of the month.

He is the founder of Bobby Cooper Salon in Indianapolis, Indiana. What was a dream as a young child is now realized. He is a master of the Art of Hair.

He has had extensive training at the Toni and Guy Institute, also with Vivienne Mackinder and Luigi Moreno. He has worked with some of the nation's top photographers such as Nigel Barker (America's Next Top Model) and Pamela Mougin. He is highly trained in everything from cut, color, highlights, Great Lengths hair extensions, makeup application, runway and editorials.

Hair is his artistic expression and creative outlet. He sets a very high standard and teaches his staff by way of example. His vision of the salon experience has captured enough attention to fill his book and a long waiting list. Word on the street is that he is continually well worth the wait!

Sarah Cooper

Sarah Cooper is the Co-Founder of Bobby Cooper Salon in Indianapolis, Indiana. Helping with the design and implementation, she really focused on how the space needed to function on top of how they wanted it to look. What was fashioned really became a synergistic creation of impeccable decor and true passion.

Appealing to both young and old, she really set out to have no age boundaries. Her goal was to give it a rare touch of spontaneity in an otherwise conservative city.

She has a modern approach to client service and staff relations. In both areas, she makes it cool enough that those who don't attend or work there will inevitably wish they did.
